There are a few issues with the online, but on the whole it's really good.

I'm on my first playthrough as a monk and really enjoying it. I've only just beaten the Skeleton King, so I'm not very far in yet, but I'm loving what I've played so far. The difficulty is finally starting to pick up after an easy start, but I still feel like I can tank everything with my monk.

Always having to be online is a bit annoying, especially given that you can't play singleplayer if the Blizzard servers are full. Also, I was getting latency in singleplayer, which is completely stupid. I kept clipping weirdly then jumping back to the location I was in a few seconds ago.

It's constantly cutting out... Music, dialogue, etc... Enemies and townsfolk will stop midsentence, music wil end abruptly. Are there any patches planned for this?

Another... "Odd" thing about the HD edition, is that they've changed strangers shirt from green to orange... What's up with that? It's also still green in the cut-scenes. I haven't yet gotten to Doc's get'away, so I'm curious to see if they randomly change it back after they take his poncho and stuff off. Anyone else notice this? Oh well, I turned 26 yesterday. Joy. I got £15, some chocolate, and two dead mice. Then my cat got the hump with me for half the evening 'cause I rejected the last gifts. I spent the day doing what I normally do - the most exciting thing being when I received an e-mail from myself 4 years in the past via futureme.org which was interesting and a little depressing since it was from a happier time in my life where I had more ambition, but it was still an eye opener.

Okay. Saw Dark Shadows. In all honesty, it's probably the best film Burton has made in twenty years, but it still isn't very good. If taken scene by scene, you could almost think it's a good movie. The way Burton works is that he films very interesting scenes of very interesting things, but has no fucking clue how to turn that into a coherent story. Most of the plot lines come from left field, and ultimately are just left out there to catch butterflies, and ignore the rest of the game. There are a few parts, mostly at the end, where you will just sit there dumbfounded, asking yourself why the fuck that just happened, and if there is anyone that you can slap for letting it happen.

That being said, it is entertaining, and there were some very subtle nods to the original show that only people who watched it will get, such as an under her breath comment that Dr. Hoffman makes about David thinking that his mom is some sort of immortal, cyclical creature, and Victoria changing her name from Maggie Evans. Speaking of Victoria changing her name from Maggie Evans, that was easily the stupidest part of the film. It was clear that it was just a nod to a character from the series that they didn't include, but it made no fucking sense, as Victoria made up the name Victoria on the train from New York to Maine, after already getting the job to be the governess, showed up at the door, said "My name is Victoria, I'm the new governess", and they were all like "Oh, yeah, come in, Victoria.
