I saw Frank's son (Dweezil) perform on the 21st in Cambridge. Great stuff. They played a fantastic two and half hour set, and did a stunning job. I would definitely see them again. They played one of my favorites:

I went to Leeds to watch Spamalot with my brother yesterday. It was fantastic. Best laugh I've had in ages. Eric Idle was fantastic, despite not being in much of it. He's done a great job adapting The Holy Grail for the stage. It's a big piss-take of all that fucking stupid Andrew Lloyd Webber stuff. It was really well-done. Not one person was mis-cast. Absolutely hilarious. Todd Carty was brilliant as Patsy. Very, very good stuff.

Me and my brother have been through all the tapes that my eldest nephew used to have. We even watched a couple. For anyone here with children, I recommend Oakie Doke (which I used to call "Oakie Dokey" by mistake). I'd mention Sooty and Pingu "two other tapes we went through), but I have done before. It doesn't seem two minutes ago that he was sat watching all those things. The hours we had to spend sitting through bloody Fireman Sam!

I got back a few hours ago after camping with a friend up in the Lake District. I heard she'd gone up, and I hadn't seen her in a long time, so I went up with her and her daughter. I forgot to watch the first episode of the new series of "The Prisoner". It probably ballsed it all up, anyway. They usually do. After a bit of quick research, I have discovered that Number 2 doesn't keep changing in this series. That's shit. One of the best part of the programme was when he said "I am the new Number 2". I hope they kept the "I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. I am not a number. I am a free man." line. That made every episode.

Me and my brother rescued an old acoustic piano from a skip last night. We don't know how the fuck it ended up in there (although it is an unusually small piano - all the keys are there, but the body's not as big as I'd usually expect), but we had a job on getting it out. It's great. It's in a bit of a state, but it'll be just grand when we've got it all fixed up. It's out of tune and stuff, but we'll soon see to that. It plays just fine.

I have just received "Dances with Cows" by Dave Louapre and Dan Sweetman. Graphic novels are not usually my kind of thing, but I do find these quite funny. "A Cotton Candy Autopsy" was great, but this is, in my opinion, even better (despite the lack of pyschotic clowns). It's about two cows who find their friend hanging in a slaughterhouse, and decide to escape the farm. It's fucking nuts. I've bought the only one on the UK Amazon, but there are four more on the US Amazon.

Last night, some little shit attempted to vandalise my phone cable. I thought I heard something at about 12:30 when I went for a drink, but I assumed that it was just the house creaking. Funnily enough (and I didn't realise this at the time), the noises stopped after I turned on the kitchen light, so I wonder if they saw the light and ran off.

They had broken the clips holding the cable to the wall, and had clearly tried to yank the cable out of the wall. Either they're little vandals,...

My mam asked me to go fetch her make up from the bedroom, so I did. Only problem is, I looked in the wrong draw and found a clitoral vibrator, at first thinking it was lipstick. I sound like a fucking prude, but my initial reaction was to hide under the stairs and break down. I've always thought of her as lovely, asexual mam. Now I have this terrifying image in my head, and it is fucking horrible.
